Related Designs Software has released an English, 90 minutes playable trial, offering a chance to sample the management, strategy combination sequel also known as 1701 A.D.

The trial offers a tutorial, single-player map and multiplayer map and it’s strictly locked at a 90 minutes play, without any mode of buying a key to unlock the whole game, or anything. The demo can be found at Worthplaying.

As you may already know, if you’ve made a habit of reading our daily news section, 1701 A.D. has reached gold stage on 18th of October and is going to hit retail shelves on 26th of October.

Players muster up some colonial spirit as they uncover and inhabit new islands in this unique empire-building simulation set in the 17th and 18th centuries. In this third episode of the incredibly successful series, players climb aboard a vessel and set sail for places unknown to establish, expand and maintain a flourishing medieval metropolis.
