Well, Activision is full of surprises and after announcing that Joel Goldsmith is making the game’s soundtrack, they came back today with four screens from the upcoming World War II first person shooter.

Call of Duty 3 is scheduled for release this fall for the Xbox 360 and Xbox video game and entertainment systems from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and Nintendo’s Wii. Call of Duty 3 is not yet rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board.

Still, there’s no word about a PC version of the game, although rumors were told on the launch of Call Of Duty 2 that preparations have been made for the next installment of this sequel on the PC. Hope it isn’t just another rumor, but a fact. Enjoy the screenshots.
