Paradox Interactive announced today that their first installment of the Frontline series has been confirmed as "Frontline: Fields Of Thunder", thus making a name-change from "Frontline: Kursk", a game currently in development at Nival Interactive, known for games like HoMMV and Blitzkrieg.

"Frontline: Fields Of Thunder" follows on the footsteps of Blitzkrieg incorporating features already classic in many RTS games. While some will find it familiar, there are still features that will make Fields Of Thunder unique in comparison with the all-round successful Blitzkrieg and its addons.

The game is programmed for release in February 2007, and by reading the atmosphere around the game, it’s clear that fans of Blitzkrieg are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Frontline: Fields Of Thunder, that, in a certain way, continues the same style of gameplay, but on a different storyline.
